Local notes
- GDPR data-minimisation principles align well with disposable addresses: give out only what the transaction actually requires.
- Amtliche Dienste, banking, insurance and Elster-style portals require a permanent address.
- German-language mail with umlauts and ISO-8859-1 encoding is converted to UTF-8 during parsing and displays correctly.
- Nothing is retained after expiry — messages and attachments are deleted, not archived.
What is identical everywhere
Address generation, the 60-minute expiry, HTML sanitisation, blocked remote images and the receive-only restriction do not vary by country. There are no regional inboxes and no local data centres — this is one service with one set of rules.
